Dr Lanka has a Doctor Of Counselling degree and specializes in bible based cognitive behavioral therapy. His fields are mainly: marriage, trauma, substance abuse, finance and career counselling. He is a published author, a poet and is the founder and chairman of New Heart Ministries South Africa which includes New Heart Family Church , New Heart Bible College, Youth of Africa and New Heart Counselling Centre. Dr Lanka is a sought out conference speaker both nationally and internationally. He gave his heart to the Lord at the tender age of 9 back in 1974 and started serving in ministerial capacity at the Merebank Baptist Church in 1989. He is married to Rebecca for 39 years and is the father of 3 daughters and 5 grandchildren.
